Tutorial Request -Gradients

Would someone be able to provide me with a tutorial on how to create the gradient at the top of the webpage [link]

It's the one that starts just under the tagline "Helping Bloggers succeeds" and goes down to a gray bar and then continues until it blends with the blog post.

Just looks like a drop shadow underneath, with maybe a very slight gradient between two almost identical colors. Just select the area you want to do this to, pick a foreground/background color set you want, then use the linear gradient tool and drag vertically. Then go to Layer Styles and add a drop shadow at 90 deg.
