Hi, everyone. I'm new and I had a quick question.
When y'all talk about renders on here, like the ones on gamerenders.com, I was wondering, how does one go about creating those?
Thanks! |

| quite simple really there is many ways to do it. some people use the extract filter ( i wouldnt recommend for beginner) while others just go around the selected image with the polygonal lasso then layer via cut then delete the back ground layer |

| Oh, so all you're doing is taking a picture or a screenshot from a game and then extracting the character from it? |

hello lissamae,
You hit the nail on the head. TacoFlea's suggestion is golden however industry professionals use the pen tool to do these selections - the precision you can get with the pen tool goes unmatched by any other. It does take quite a bit of use to get the hang of the pen tool but it's far superior than any other means of making these types of hair pin selections. |
