Wow, l sure wish l was that good when l first started out with photoshop!!!

Try using a brighter color; it will let you be able to smear and blur it but you will still be able to read it easily. Although; I can read your new one alright; great job!

Great work Kiwi on all of these. Another option, would be to try and add a background to the graphics that would highlight your work as apposed to the black. There are a lot of background effects tutorials here on photoshopforce.com, and photoshoptower.com - and if you're still thirsty for some effects you've always got good-tutorials.com Wink
