Hi sirknight,

What kind of mixtape are you talking about -- an example would help. Very Happy

Someone can help with some "reflections" tutorials? I keep on searching those, but I can't find any.

Thanks in advance.

Hello Danyutz,

Well from the looks of the artwork l'd bet my house that it was done with a 3d rendering program (3d smax probably) - which allows you to create "glass/mirror" reflecting surfaces with the click of a button.

It 'could' be recreated in photoshop, but would require a bit of tweaking and testing.

Yea....in photoshop those would all have to be done by hand. You would have to spend a LONG time on it.

Hello mates, and thanks for the replies ... I have to tell you, that the car is from NFS: Carbon, I don't know if he would bother to go in 3dSMax, just to make a mirror refl. So my guess is that he just took the background, created one of his own, then making the mirror refl, but still if you are saying that in PS it's almost impossible, then I believe you. My point is I really want to know how to make reflections(I practiced on the texts and so), but I want to know about "moved" objects, as you see the car isn't perfectly horizontal neighter vertical.

OOOOOOHHHHHHHH!

lol We were looking at the wrong reflections. All you do for that is do a horizontal flip, and then slide the reflection under the object till the focal points match up.

IE: in the picture of that car the focal points is where the car hits ground, so you line up those points, and then cut out any of the reflection that covers the car.

If I'm not making sense let me know and I can do a full tutorial for you.

I know a bit of PS, and I've learned a lot of the tuts you have here, but I would like to learn about those reflections. So If you have time to make a tut, I would appreciate it Wink
