I've noticed a lot of people asking web site questions so I hope you don't mind another.
I'm building a web site for my daughters wedding photography and the galleries I built with frames, and I can't set up the frames so they stay centered in the web page when the page is resized or if being viewed on monitors of different resolutions.
I thank you in advance,
Pete |

Thanks Nick, now remember it's not quite finished , the Contact Me and Prices links don't work but everything else does. You'll probably notice it's a little slow. The Galleries are in frames.

Thanks again,

Hello there Pete,
I noticed you were using a huge image for the background, kind'a make sit difficult to do what you wanted to have done, with the giant image, and the css positioning you had used...
I have resliced the image, and coded it here is an example:

here is a zip of the files, for you to dissect and/or use straight up:

Please note the images are not compressed, and l suggest you do so.
Let me know if there's anything else we can do to help. |

Thanks Jeff, I'll look at those this afternoon. I know I hadn't optimized the images yet and have to do that before I'm finished.
I really appreciate the help, I'm pretty new to this.

Okay! I couldn't wait till this afternoon. This works great Jeff. Now I have to figure it out for the framesets.
My other problem is everytime I look at the pages I find something I'm not happy with..oh well!
Thanks again,
Pete |

Jeff, I have another question if you don't mind?
I was going over the code you gave me, thanks again, and I was wondering how you centered everything and kept the buttons with the main image. I tried everything a newb could but the buttons alsways stayed put. The only thing I noticed in the code was the <A> anchor tag. Is that correct? I'm an HTML dummy and can see that I better learn some basics real soon.
Thanks,
Pete |
