Animation flash text

hey i been looking around for this tutorial and i carnt find one that is simple or that works properly so i was wonderin if someone could do me one or give me a link to one. what i want is for the text to have a light flash through the text like this but i carnt really understand this one its to complicated.

Hi Kurt, I would like to help you out but I'm not sure what it is you want. I guess I can't see what you mean by a flash through the text.

thanks for the reply what im trying to say is ummm how can i put it normal text but every few seconds like a white light goes through the text if i just post the link maybe you can see it http://www.tutorialized.com/tutorial/Gold-Flash-Effect-Animated-Banner/13729 like that but i just want it through my text and i carnt understand that.

Well if you can lead me to a better example Id be more then happy to write a tutorial for psf on the subject. Even if you know a website that has the effect your looking for.

I'm guessing that this is what you're talking about. If it is, I just did this real quick in ImageReady. One text layer then copied it and made it larger with a white color and an outer glow. It's not perfect but it's close.

I think he means a reflection/shine sort of thing going through it.

I not so sure X, he says evry few seconds a light flashes through it. I thought he meant the animated gif up in the left hand corner.

hey sorry i aint replyed iv been ill with psoriasis peterv you got it right but yea it has to go threw it anyways iv figured it out its a very easy method to do it i will put it in a tutorial soon and put it up its very easy way. Thanks for the replys anyway.
